Hello and welcome to Piggenhole Framing! Thanks for visiting our website.Set in the heart of the Peak District close to the picturesque village of Longnor, our small family framing business would love to help you to preserve and display to best effect your photographs, pictures, artwork, memorabillia, childrens schoolwork, that special football shirt, your baby's first bootees or christening gown - in fact pretty much anything (within reason!) If you're looking for a framed stunning landscape print please have a look at the very artistic images on the Longnor Landscapes website (http://www.longnorlandscapes.co.uk). Our friends there have a stunning selection of landscape images large and small, of locations both local and further afield. Simply choose which image you would like and contact either Michela at Longnor Landscapes or myself via the "Contact Us" page on this site and we'll do the rest. For the perfect makeover and photography session please visit Bcaptured (http://www.bcaptured.co.uk). Based in Leek Staffordshire, Emma and Jenny will provide a wonderful experience with stunning images to keep forever. We offer a 10% discount to all customers of Longnor Landscapes and Bcaptured who choose Piggenhole Framing to help preserve their lovely images. Our Framing Materials: We use only conservation moundboards for our framing; these are acid free and so over time will not develop the "nicotine staining" that you will eventually see with non-conservation mount board framings. We recognise the increased worldwide environmental concerns over wood sources and the desire for greater controls along the timber chains and so we only pick suppliers who hold PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes) and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) Chain of Custody accreditations from BM TRADA Certification Ltd. These schemes provide assurance mechanisms to purchasers of wood and paper products that they are purchasing wood produced in a sustainable way. Products carrying the FSC or PEFC labels are independently certified to assure consumers that they come from forests that are managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations. This means we can offer you the added reassurance and peace of mind about the source of the timber used in our suppliers' products. We normally use 2mm "float" glass for framing. For those extra special items we can, if requested, use Claryl glass. Claryl is different from ordinary float glass because it is designed for more light to pass through it. Claryl also minimizes reflections so that you can see and enjoy your framing at its best. This option costs quite a lot more and we can quote for both types to give you the choice. So, grab a cuppa, and have a look around our website, enjoy it and please feel free to contact us if you need any more information or if you'd like a no-obligation quote. Our Kindest Regards, Piggenhole Framing
